DEBRA FRITTS ONE DAY WORKSHOPSATURDAY FEBRUARY 11, 2012 10 AM- 2 PMIn partnership with the James Renwick Alliance Distinguished Artist Series, Flux is please to announce this dynamic, one-day hands-on figurative clay workshop by DEBRA FRITTS. Students will quickly build a head by pinching and coiling. Facial features will be demonstrated by pushing from the inside of the form and by the addition of clay. Personal interpretations will allow the work to have a spiritual connection between the sculpture and the maker. Some surface treatments will be explored using slips and underglazes.
In addition, Debra Fritts will present a lecture on her work on Sunday, February 12 at 2:00 pm in the Grand Salon at the Renwick Gallery.
Workshop Costs:
Individual Workshop: JRA Member $30, Non-Member $40
